Bostan by Grandma
About This Spot
Stepping into Bostan by Grandma feels a bit like entering a beloved family kitchen tucked away in Granada Hills—a quiet nook where the aroma of freshly baked breads and rich coffee swirls softly through the air. The space invites a gentle pause in the day, with subtle details that reflect a warm, lived-in comfort: thoughtfully arranged fresh flowers, hand-crafted decor, and cozy corners that suggest lingering over conversation. It’s the kind of place where time slows, and the pace is unhurried, encouraging you to savor the moment beyond just a meal.
The atmosphere here strikes a balance between humble charm and quiet sophistication. It’s a spot where the hum of friendly chatter blends comfortably with the clink of cups and plates, creating an environment that feels intimate yet welcoming. Here, people come not just to fill up but to connect—with the food, with those around them, and with a sense of tradition lovingly reinterpreted.
At Bostan by Grandma, breakfast unfolds like a small celebration of thoughtful ingredients and layered flavors. There’s a distinct sense of care behind every dish—whether it’s the way a classic omelet arrives accompanied by bright olives and creamy feta or how khachapuri, rich with melted cheese and a perfectly baked egg, brings a hint of heritage to the table. Even the breads and pastries speak of hands that know their craft well, and the coffee offerings, from comforting cappuccinos to nuanced Armenian brews, feel like the perfect partners in this culinary story.
Choosing a seat here invites discovery: no two experiences feel quite the same, partly because the decor sprinkles personal touches in every corner and partly because the menu’s blend of traditional and modern touches encourages curiosity. It’s a place where every visit can uncover a small surprise—whether it’s a new take on a familiar favorite or the gentle sweetness of a homemade carrot cake finished with care.
More than a restaurant, Bostan by Grandma feels like an invitation to share in a quiet joy—whether through a thoughtfully composed plate or the natural warmth of attentive, genuine service that wraps around you like a soft blanket on a cool morning.

I absolutely loved my experience at Bostan by Grandma! Every single dish was outstanding and prepared with such care. The farm cheese pancakes with berry sauce were light, fluffy, and simply melted in my mouth. The khachapuri was perfection – golden, cheesy, and rich with the fresh egg on top. The omelet with mushrooms and side salad was full of flavor, and the drinks were both unique and refreshing. The strawberry–matcha latte was such a creative and delicious combination, and the coffee was smooth, fragrant, and beautifully presented. On top of the amazing food, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is truly exceptional – attentive, friendly, and professional. You can feel the love and passion in everything they do here. This place is a gem! Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fresh, high-quality food with a cozy vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Bostan by Grandma is all about attention to detail. The decor is immaculate, and the food presentation is equally beautiful. The restaurant feels alive. No two tables are alike, every corner is decorated, and live flowers are all over. The menu has a mix of traditional Armenian plates and Americanized offerings, along with an extensive coffee list. And it really feels like everything here is meant to be shared. Not just because the portions are large, which they are, but because the presentation inspires conversation, whether it's from beauty or nostalgia. It really feels like popping into a long lost family member's house for a meal.

4.5, we ordered the bostan sandwich, khachapuri, and their omelet. as well as oat latte and armenian coffee. i wasn't in love with the bostan sandwich (it wasn't bad but just expected more flavor from it), the rest were amazing, the khachapuri was cheesy and soft, the omelet and toast were delicous. armenian coffee was just like regular coffee and the latte was really good, wasn't too sweet and was actually light. would love to go again and try their other menu place is GORGEOUS, such peaceful and pretty vibe. free street parking was easy on a friday lunch time.

Friend and I shared the Oval Plate, the Mini Cheese Bread and a Honey Cake and WOW. Insane. I felt like I was having breakfast in Europe. Lovely staff, beautiful little cafe, the decor is so quaint and floral. The plateware, some hand painted, some with beautiful little flowers. Really felt like you were in someone’s Grandmas adorable home. Food was fresh and delicious. Soft boiled eggs were perfect. Will have to come back!
